DESCRIPTION:EVENT INFORMATION \nPolitical Science Professor Kathryn Pearson will share insights on the upcoming U.S. House and Senate elections and Minnesota elections\, with a focus on the issues that are most important to women\, women’s candidacies\, and the impact of the 2026 elections. \nSPEAKER INFORMATION \nKathryn Pearson is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Minnesota specializing in American politics; her research and teaching focuses on the United States Congress\, women & politics\, and congressional elections. She is also the director of the University Honors Program and an Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education. Professor Pearson received her Ph.D. from the University of California\, Berkeley in 2005.
